Raven Chocolate’s Bean to Bar range is made straight from cacao beans sourced from a small family farm in Venuzula. They only use 4-5 ingredients in each of our bars which means that all of their bars are free from any additives, colourings and preservatives.
Most of Raven Chocolate’s range is Vegan, Dairy-free and Refined-Sugar-free. They use mostly coconut sugar which not only gives their chocolate a better flavour but also is healthier than cane sugar.
They chocolate process is simple – they roast their beans and then peel off the shells. Raven Chocolate then pours these beans into large grinders and add cacao butter, sugar etc. They then leave this to grind away for up to four days at a time – the longer they leave it the better the flavour! Once the chocolate is ready, they pour it and let it age for up to 60 days, again this increases the flavour. They then temper our chocolate and pour it into square moulds.
